Risk Management
Posted Mar 19, 2011

All coaches and assistant coaches must complete a Risk Management Application (RMA) prior to coaching youth soccer. If you are not yet RMA cleared, please complete the online application IMMEDIATELY.  If you already have your RMA acceptance card, please verify that it is current and unexpired. Contact the SCORE registrar, if you have lost your RMA card or do not know its expiration date. To submit or renew your RMA, go to the Registration page and click on the General Volunteer & Board Member RMA Application, log into your member account and complete the online application.

Concussion Resources

The Zackery Lystedt Law, enacted on July 26, 2009, proscribes that all players and parent(s) of players become aware of the signs and symptoms of brain injury and concussions.  Washington Youth Soccer and Bonzi have incorporated an informed consent form into our online registration process that provides information relating to the nature and risk of such injuries. Coaches should ensure your parents and players have read over this concussion information and can recognize the signs of a concussion, and that your team is in compliance with this new law. More information can be found on the WSYSA Concussion Resources page.
