The Washington State Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a program that enables children with physical and or cognitive disabilities to play soccer.  The program, designed and administered by US Youth Soccer, is supported by Washington Youth Soccer. It provides meaningful learning, development and physical participation opportunities to these young players. TOPSoccer was formed to perpetuate the US Youth Soccer mission statement, which is, "to foster the physical, mental, and emotional growth and development through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition."  Our goal is to enable people with disabilities develop their physical fitness, technical skills and self-esteem, through the joy and excitement of playing soccer and help them become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family.

TOPSoccer is not geared towards any specific type of disability and is open to any boy or girl 4 years old and up.  There are varied types of participation to meet the needs of any child that wishes to participate.

Washington Youth Soccer is a strong supporter of TOPSoccer, with 15 local chapters. Locally, TOPSoccer is administered by Alice Russell through the Tukwila/Skyway Soccer Club and GRJSA. Contact Alice directly at arussell78@msn.com if you have questions or wish to participate in this special program.
